Monday... a weigh in and the day off

I didn't have to work today.

The perks of being a teacher.

I took 3 naps today and acted like I didn't have a care in the world. Seems like that may have been the theme of the weekend.

Anywho, today my food choices were...umm... lets just say "less than stellar." We are wrapping that up in a nice little bow and leaving it behind.

The reason? Today was my 4 week weigh in of being sugar and soda free.

4 weeks ago when I started, these were my stats:

Week one: 184
Week two: 184.4
Week three: 185
Week 4: 184

So I think I just said screw it, but just for today.

So I will leave you with a picture of Ellie Pmae and her verison of "out door activities" and sunning in the winter.

  1. Ellie Pmae is perfection!!!!!! Like I said last night - that happened to me the last time i went off sugar for a month and I was furious and proceeded to gain 10 pounds because I was so mad! Keep going and focus on what makes you feel good and lose the scale... easier said than done... :)

  2. Ellie Pmae is so cute!! Also, how do you pronounce Pmae? :)

I have no idea what to tell you about the no-sugar and not losing. Normally, when I'm not losing I'm either eating too much, not drinking enough, or just not tracking my calories. So I'm eating the right things, but since there's not a calorie deficit no weight can come off. Are you doing the dreaded tracking of your calories? If not, it might help.

I had yesterday off, too. It was fabulouuuuus!

  3. Oh my gosh that dog is adorable!!!

And I totally get the frustration about eating clean/working out/doing all the right things and NOT getting that payoff from the scale ... it SUCKS! But hang in there you are here for the long haul not just the right now.

  4. with sheila, totally hate that when I do what is right and don't see weight loss or GASP see weight gain! Sounds like you spent your day in just the right way!
