This is the first time since I started blogging that I just don't believe in myself...
For Real.
I know what I need to do to get out of the 170's.
1. Drink water and only water.
2. Don't eat M&M's for breakfast.
3. Move more.
I just am not.
Where is my warrior self?
Where is my motivation?
I believe in you!!! I know you can do it...look how far you have already come :)
ReplyDeleteYou are NOT alone.....I went on vaca and just can't seem to get back on track. Hopefully I will get a boost when I see my surgeon on Tues. Do you need a fill maybe?
ReplyDeleteI think it's normal for us to go through these ups and downs. My weight hasn't changed in several months. It is frustrating! Just keep moving forward and do the best you can. That is all we can do. We are all food addicts and always will be.
ReplyDeleteI SO understand where you are. In fact, I am right there. What I've been doing is looking in the mirror and trying to decide if this is where I envisioned myself when I started this journey with the band. It isn't. So I'm back to working it. But I'm easing back into it so I don't do one of my famous "all or nothing" numbers and quit 3 weeks in. This is the hard part and I'm here to support you! I KNOW you can decide where you want to be and get there!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya Lady - I'm in the exact same place. I just feel like there isn't much more I can do .. as if my body just wants to be here. /sigh I guess all we can do is keep moving forward even though it sometimes feels as if we're slogging through mud.
ReplyDeleteI think your warrior self and my beast mode are on vacation together. We'll just have to hold the fort down until they get back, which should be like RIGHT NOW!
ReplyDeleteHang in there. Someone else in blogland (sorry, can't remember who!) posted something like: Our GOALS never change, but sometimes the timeline does, and that needs to be okay.
I have a friend who is SUPER into crossfit (what is it with crossfit that gets people so obsessed? I need to check it out, if I ever had 5 minutes to myself...) anyway, he made a comment recently that made me think of you.. he said:
ReplyDelete"Don't use a scale to track progress. A scale will simply measure mass, that is all. Get your measurements and don't even look at a scale. Simply do a web search for "muscle vs fat" and you'll see what I mean."
I think you are too focused on the number on the scale and you're missing all the amazing progress you are making! I know I don't see you every day... but I stalk your blog ;) and it sounds like you are kicking ass with staying active and crossfit, and your "weight loss" took a turn right around the time you started building MUSCLE. You ARE a freaking bad ass warrior!
Love you!
Hang it there!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh balls. I've been in that place for a while too. Just over the past few days I've been crushing it on my bike and back to making smoothies...loving the nutra bullet...kale smoothies..mmmmm. Just focus on one thing that you like..work out or do something outside of your box - like take up a new sport. That might get you excited...or buy a new pair of sneakers..that sometimes helps me. Text me!
